Any member of a private team can add new members to that team. To add a new team member from the app:
- Go to the team profile for that team from either the Message tab > tap the team name in the app header or Contacts tab > search for the team.
- On the team profile screen, tap the Add Members.
- Type the name of the person(s) you want to add.
- Select the person(s) you want to add from the returned results.
- Tap the Next or right arrow.
You can add either co-workers or people from your device contacts to a team. Co-workers are added instantly to a team. Personal contacts, if they aren't already on RingCentral, will receive an invitation to join via email. Once they join, they will be able to participate fully in the team conversation.
