Every RingCentral app user has a profile that can be edited by the user and viewed by others at any time. 

When you edit your profile, your updated profile information is synchronized across the RingCentral desktop and mobile apps and your online account. If you are an SMB customer, you will be asked to review and complete your user profile after activating your user account. After activating your account, you can still edit your profile in the RingCentral app. Not sure which customer you are? Click here to learn more. 

Editing your user profile

You can edit your profile picture in the RingCentral mobile app. However, to edit your first name, last name, title, location, or webpage you must log in to app.ringcentral.com or use the desktop app.  

Choosing a profile picture for mobile

  1. Tap the menu icon at the top left.
  2. Tap the Edit text on your profile picture.
  3. In the Update profile picture modal window, select either Take new profile picture or Select profile picture.
  4. Tap the check mark in the upper right corner of the app to set your profile picture.

Update profile picture options

In the Update profile picture window, you can:
  • View profile picture: This option will open your profile picture.
  • Take new profile picture: This option will open your mobile device’s camera to take a picture. 
  • Select profile picture: This option will allow you to choose your profile picture from your mobile device’s photo library.
