You can use RingCentral to converse with co-workers about a wide variety of topics from project planning to fun planning using RingCentral App team messaging. RingCentral provides three ways to have a conversation with a group of co-workers:
- Private teams are where most of your work takes place. They are limited to a small number of people and require an invitation from an existing team member to join.
- Public teams are open to anyone in your company to join. They are listed in your company's public team directory.
- Group direct messages are for private, ad hoc conversations between you and a small group of co-workers. These conversations can only be seen and searched by the people in them.
You can create an unlimited number of teams and direct messages. Group direct messages can be converted to a team from the web or desktop app from the conversation settings screen.
