There are two ways to save a photo or file that was shared in a conversation to your iOS or Android device.
Save from the Files tab
On iOS devices
1. Open a conversation
2. Tap More (three vertical dots) at the upper-right corner of the screen
3. On the Files tab, open the file to save
4. Tap the Share icon on the lower left, then tap Save
