Notes in the RingCentral app are a way to document and keep track of information you’d like to refer back to later. You can add notes directly into direct messages, groups, and teams. Notes created in a conversation are accessible and editable by anyone added to that conversation. 
 

Creating a note in the mobile app

  1. Navigate to Message via the bottom bar.
  2. Select a conversation from the conversation list.
  3. Tap the plus sign in the bottom left corner.
  4. Select the New note paper icon in the pop-up menu.
  5. Give your note a title.
  6. Begin drafting your notes under the Content field.
  7. Post the note to the conversation via the checkmark icon in the top right corner (Android) or Done (iOS) OR Save it as a draft by tapping the left arrow icon in the top left corner of the app.

Viewing notes for mobile

Once you’ve created a note, that note will appear in the message thread, which you can view in the RingCentral mobile app. To view a full list of notes in a conversation, follow these steps: 
  1. Navigate to Message via the bottom bar.
  2. Select a conversation from the conversation list.
  3. Tap the More icon in the top right corner of the app.
  4. Select the Notes tab.
  5. Tap on one of the notes to view that note.
In the Notes section, you will see allnotes created for that conversation, ordered by the most recent at thetop. 
 
Each note will have the title of the note and the name of the person who created it. To view the contents of the note, tap on the note to open it.
